Welcome

Ripon Rowel Players were founded in the 1940's, when entertainment was homemade and didn't come from a box in the corner, and ever since we have been entertaining the people of Ripon and district with plays of comedy and tragedy, making them laugh and on occasion cry.

We produce at least two full length plays each year. One in spring and one in autumn, as well as entering junior and senior plays in the local Nidderdale Drama Festival. We involve ourselves in the community as much as possible supporting fetes and the St. Wilfreds Procession.

New members are always welcome whether they wish to be actors, help back-stage, front of house and we are always looking for producers.

We try to perform what our audiences would like and are always open to suggestions of possible plays or even venues.
