Ripon Rowel Players

Brenda Tabor

Before retiring to Ripon in 1981, Brenda took leading roles in Hornsea Dramatic Society, as well as spending 25 years as an Evening Institute Drama Teacher. During this time she took a drama degree, becoming an associate of the Drama Board.

Since coming to Ripon, she joined the Rowel Players in 1981, producing 17 plays and acting in 20. She has won Best Actress award in the Nidderdale and District Drama Association Festival three times. She continues to play an active role within the Society.

She is well known for her concert work, as well as monologues and sketches.
