Ripon Rowel PlayersFormerly with Barlaston Proscenium Players in her native Staffordshire, Julie joined Ripon Rowel Players on moving to North Yorkshire in 1995. As well as turning her hand to various jobs back stage with the Rowels, she has appeared in a wide variety of full-length and one-act plays including A Different Way To Die, Pygmalion, The Heiress, Bonaventure, and Blithe Spirit! She also appeared in Interior Designs by Jimmy Chinn, which won the first round of the All England Theatre Festival at Pately Bridge in 2000.
She is increasingly interested in directing/producing, and has so far staged Dangerous Corner, Say Something Happened, and Sylvia's Wedding. Her next project is a full length play at the Ripon Leisure Centre in Spring 2005, and she has an eye for some meatier productions in the future, including classical Greek tragedies.
